Wholesale Parts Associate

The Budds' Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC Parts department is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Wholesale/Front Counter Parts Associate to join our team. As a key member of our Parts Department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist customers with parts needs and provide accurate information about our products.
- Answer phone calls and emails from mechanical and body shop customers, ensuring prompt and professional communication.
- Support retail customers with their parts needs, providing a positive and helpful experience.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring that stock is up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Assist with shipping and receiving, ensuring that all parts are properly handled and stored.
- Order parts in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing delays and errors.
- Stay up-to-date on software and reports, using this information to improve our operations and customer service.
- Contribute to a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
- Support the back/tech counter as needed, providing additional assistance and expertise.
- Previous experience in a parts counter role is preferred, but not required.
- A strong understanding of automotive knowledge and principles is essential.
- Excellent communication and sales skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Computer proficiency, with experience using inventory management software and other relevant tools.
This role requires a flexible and adaptable individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday, 8 am-5 pm, and every third Saturday from 8 am-12 pm. We are looking for someone who can work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer service and teamwork.
