About the Job

The Budds' Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC Parts department is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Wholesale/Front Counter Parts Associate to join our team. As a key member of our Parts Department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers with parts needs and provide accurate information about products and services.
  • Answer telephone calls and emails from mechanical and body shop customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist retail customers with their parts needs, providing a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring that stock is up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving, ensuring that all parts are properly stored and accounted for.
  • Order parts and supplies as needed, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Stay up-to-date on software and reports, using this information to improve processes and increase efficiency.
  • Support the back/tech counter as needed, providing assistance and guidance to colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a parts counter role is preferred, but not required.
  • A strong understanding of automotive knowledge and principles is essential.
  • Excellent communication and sales skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Computer proficiency, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems.
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of customer interaction. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am-5 pm, and every third Saturday from 8 am-12 pm. Flexibility and adaptability are essential in this role.
