Job Title: Clinical Practice Consultant - Community Health Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide education, thought leadership, and consultation on clinical practice services.
  • Plan, organize, and deliver a comprehensive range of professional nursing services.
  • Provide clinical expertise to nurses and allied health workers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from a recognized university or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Eligibility or current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Current CPR course for Health Care Providers (HCP).
  • Current certification in immunizations and communicable disease.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Three (3) years of experience in community/public health nursing providing clinical practice support and education to nurses or an acceptable combination of education, training, and professional experience.
  • Experience nursing in First Nations communities.
