Job Title: Clinical Nurse Consultant

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Consultant to provide clinical knowledge and expertise to enhance the sale and support of Olympus products in targeted hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide front-line clinical support to customers and sales teams.
  2. Work with sales teams to introduce new products to customers and support product evaluations and post-sales implementation support.
  3. Conduct site visits in healthcare facilities to provide support and in-services to train customers on the safe and effective use of existing products.
  4. Provide EndoSite consulting services to customers as required.
  5. Conduct site visit observations for customers on service agreements with high volumes of repairs to assess and complete repair reduction checklists or Endoscope Care and Handling Observation Analysis.
  6. Work alongside sales reps to attend team meetings/presentations and provide ongoing support and training as needed.
  7. Complete summary reports for customer site visits performed.
  8. Assist sales consultants with RFP submissions relative to clinical information.
  9. Travel as required to service customers in various regions, depending on needs.
  10. Manage time and travel schedules in a manner conducive to the business, cost-effective, and efficient.
  11. Promote Olympus Professional Education programs to customers.
  12. Support Olympus Professional Education programs/events as requested.
  13. Support grants workshops as requested.
  14. Attend healthcare conferences as necessary.

Requirements:

  1. Registered Nurse with a BSN and current licensure/registration.
  2. Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably with experience in a healthcare sales environment.
  3. Minimum 2 years' experience in operating room and/or endoscopy an asset.
  4. Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills required.
  5. Strong report writing and presentation skills required.
  6. Ability to travel as necessary, domestically and internationally, up to 40%.
  7. Driver's license required.
  8. Hepatitis B vaccination recommended for employees at risk of exposure to blood or other bodily fluids on the job.
