About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologist to join our team at The Hospital for Sick Children. As a Radiologist, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating patients using medical imaging technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Medical Research: Conduct medical research on human disorders, illnesses, preventive or curative methods, and study the nature, cause, and development of diseases.
  • Consult with Physicians: Act as consultants to other physicians, providing expert advice on medical imaging and diagnosis.
  • Order Diagnostic Procedures: Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
  • Supervise Medical Teams: Supervise working groups and ensure that medical imaging procedures are carried out efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry, and 5 years or more of experience in a related field.
  • Language and Communication: Fluency in English and excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Work Environment: A fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, requiring standing for extended periods, walking, and manual dexterity.
