About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologist to join our team at The Hospital for Sick Children. As a key member of our medical imaging department, you will be responsible for interpreting medical images and providing expert diagnoses to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough medical research on human disorders, illnesses, and preventive or curative methods
  • Study the nature, cause, and development of diseases and the structural and functional changes caused by diseases
  • Act as a consultant to other physicians, providing expert advice and guidance
  • Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures as needed
Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a high level of physical demand. You will be required to stand for extended periods, walk, and perform repetitive tasks.

Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry
  • 5 years or more of experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
