As a key member of our department, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of advancing medical imaging through innovation and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of general imaging procedures using digital equipment, ensuring high-quality images and excellent patient care.
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives to maintain and improve our imaging standards.
  • Collaborate with our team of radiologists, technologists, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care and efficient department operations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient experience.
Requirements
  • Registration with the Canadian Medical and Radiological Technology Board (CMRITO) is required.
  • Previous experience in general imaging, preferably in a hospital or academic setting.
  • Completion of a Basic Life Support (BCLS) program and Level II certification.
  • One year of recent experience in a related area of responsibility, with a strong focus on patient care and imaging quality.
  • Current clinical experience in general radiography, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality images and excellent patient care.
  • Strong technical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve imaging issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work accurately under stressful conditions and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to recognize and address imaging quality issues.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and professional development, with a focus on staying up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
