Job Title: Veterinary Radiologist, Diagnostic Imaging Specialist
Job Summary:
VCA Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Radiologist to join our team at the Toronto Veterinary Emergency Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for interpreting diagnostic images to detect sites of injury or disease, and providing detailed reports for consultations with other specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret diagnostic images to detect sites of injury or disease
- Provide detailed reports for consultations with other specialists
- Develop and implement diagnostic imaging protocols to ensure high-quality images
- Collaborate with other specialists to develop and implement treatment plans
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in diagnostic imaging and radiology
- Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Board Certified or residency trained in veterinary radiology
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with diagnosing complex cases
- Expert skill with various medical imaging equipment (CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Digital radiography)
- Dedicated to promoting team-based medicine practices
- Desire to collaborate on the development of the radiology service
- Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with colleagues, pet parents, and community
- Passion for coaching and mentoring
