Job Title: Kitchen Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team at Lone Star Texas Grill. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the daily operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and cooking of our award-winning Tex-Mex dishes, including sizzling fajitas and AAA steaks.
- Lead the culinary team to maintain the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.
- Manage the inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, including line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers.
- Develop and implement menu plans, specials, and promotions to drive sales and customer engagement.
- Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and other expenses to ensure profitability.
- Collaborate with other departments, including front-of-house staff and management, to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Previous supervisory and hospitality industry experience preferred.
- Standard First Aid and Food Handlers certificate preferred.
- Ability to lift items up to 30lbs and remain physically active and busy for the duration of your shift.
