As a Senior Food Scientist at Custom Culinary, you will lead our Research and Development projects to create innovative and optimized products for our key clients. Your expertise in food science will drive our business strategy forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage R&D projects and conduct scientific experiments to develop new products and technologies.
  • Provide recommendations for new products, processes, and solutions.
  • Operate specialized equipment, evaluate materials, and assist in production trials.
  • Communicate effectively with all departments, clients, and suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate laboratory records and ensure compliance with GLPs and GMPs.
  • Lead or participate in customer presentations and sensory panels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete special projects.
  • Ensure the security of confidential product information and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Sciences degree in Food Science or related technical degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in R&D or related experience within the food industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to operate specialized processing equipment and instruments.
  • Travel as required.
