Job Overview:

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Accreditation Canada ICHSC Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating self-assessments, sampling and shadowing inspections, and supporting assessors.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assessment Review: Review and evaluate self-assessments submitted by centers to ensure compliance with inspection requirements.
  • Inspection Support: Participate in on-site inspections to ensure the assessment process is followed and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Assessor Support: Provide guidance and resources to assessors regarding program assessment content.
  • Feedback Tracking: Organize feedback from contributors into easily accessible documentation to identify client value and areas for improvement.
  • Training Material Development: Contribute to the development of training materials and resources related to quality improvement and patient safety.
  • Policies and Processes: Assist in developing, documenting, and updating policies and processes as required.

Requirements:

  • Education: University degree or equivalent in a healthcare-related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of clinical healthcare experience with a focus on diagnostic imaging services.
  • Registration: Current registration with a jurisdictional regulatory body.
  • Healthcare System Knowledge: Understanding of the healthcare system and quality improvement principles.
  • Communication Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and planning skills.
  • Critical Thinking: Analytical and critical-thinking skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with MS Windows/Word/Outlook/Excel.
