At Randstad Canada, we are seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Analyst to join our team and ensure the quality of software products delivered to both internal and external customers.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in software testing, including familiarity with various testing methodologies such as Agile, and possess a strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
Main Responsibilities:
- Reviewing business requirements, designing and executing test cases, reporting and tracking defects, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes.
- Participating in daily huddles to report on testing progress and/or barriers.
- Participating in Sprint Planning sessions and other agile ceremonies as required.
- Following escalation process to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Supporting business with User Acceptance testing processes and deliverables as required.
- Proactively managing workload.
- Performing other duties and functions as assigned.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3-5 years' experience as a Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Analyst service provider or similar services.
- Experience with various software development methodologies including but not necessarily limited to Agile.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Experience/knowledge of all phases of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Consistent demonstration of clear and concise written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with a Defect Tracking tool.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with a Test Management Tool.
