Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • An undergraduate degree in science, engineering or an equivalent combination of formal education, training, and/or experience;
  • A minimum of 5 years' work experience in an accredited laboratory or in a certification body environment;
  • A minimum of 3 years' work experience in conducting or leading external or internal audits;
  • Knowledge of validation/verification environments, including standards such as ISO/IEC 17029, ISO 14065, and ISO 14064-1/2/3;
  • Specialized knowledge of GHG technical sectors, SCC GHG accreditation programs (e.g., VCS, CFR, CORSIA);
  • Knowledge of certification bodies in forestry schemes, encompassing management systems and product, process, and service certifications;
  • Experience in verification and validation in GHG and in forestry;
  • Experience in the application of standards, regulations, and auditing techniques;
  • Experience in quality management system environments (e.g., ISO 9001).
