About the Role

  • The Operations Management Lead will be accountable for providing end-to-end operations management and oversight for the diagnostics portfolio of our quality assurance program.
  • This includes planning, implementation, budgeting, scheduling, and evaluation in collaboration with teams across Accreditation Canada and HSO while demonstrating a commitment to the Vision, Mission, Strategic Priorities, and Values of our organization.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage a newly developed diagnostics assessment program, ensuring efficient and effective management of resources, time, work, etc., to promote progress and adaptability.
  • Provide critical thinking and content expertise to program staff and clients as required.
  • Facilitate decision-making processes, including providing advice and guidance to team members and key stakeholders when decisions or options are required.
  • Monitor and mitigate risks in collaboration with the program team and other key program partners.
  • Assign appropriate resources to programs, lead teams to meet program deliverables, and evaluate program progress.
  • Document and communicate key lessons learned with the broader team as they arise.
  • Recommend solutions that benefit clients and the organization.
  • Anticipate and respond to changing client needs, adding value beyond immediate requests.

Required Qualifications:

  • University degree in a healthcare-related field.
  • 3+ years of clinical healthcare experience with a focus on diagnostic imaging services.
  • 3+ years of progressive and varied experience in healthcare leadership.
  • Understanding of the health care system.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and planning skills.
  • Ability to apply change management principles.
  • Tried and tested analytical and critical-thinking skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, including energy and a positive attitude.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of equity, diversity, and inclusiveness principles.
