Technical Sales Representative

Brook Crompton is seeking a skilled Technical Sales Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our industrial equipment and supplies to existing and new clients.
Key Responsibilities- Estimate costs of installing equipment and provide quotes to clients
- Oversee the preparation of sales and orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
- Prepare sales or other contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Promote sales to existing clients, identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to increase sales
- Read blueprints to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements
- Represent companies that export and import products or services to and from foreign countries
- Conduct sales transactions, using sales forecasting software to analyze market trends and customer needs
- Provide input into product design, ensuring that goods or services meet client requirements
- Reach out to clients after sale or signed contracts to provide ongoing support and resolve any product or service-related issues
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or business
- 5 years or more of experience in sales, preferably in the industrial equipment or supplies industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze market trends and customer needs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
