Job Description

Brook Crompton is seeking a skilled Technical Sales Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our industrial equipment and supplies to existing and new clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate costs of installing equipment and provide quotes to clients
  • Oversee the preparation of sales and orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
  • Prepare sales or other contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Promote sales to existing clients, identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to increase sales
  • Read blueprints to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements
  • Represent companies that export and import products or services to and from foreign countries
  • Conduct sales transactions, using sales forecasting software to analyze market trends and customer needs
  • Provide input into product design, ensuring that goods or services meet client requirements
  • Reach out to clients after sale or signed contracts to provide ongoing support and resolve any product or service-related issues
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or business
  • 5 years or more of experience in sales, preferably in the industrial equipment or supplies industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze market trends and customer needs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
