Job DescriptionThis is a dynamic leadership role as a Team Lead for the Mobile Maintenance team at our Ekati Diamond Mine site. The successful candidate will report to the Mobile Maintenance Superintendent and work on site on a 2-week rotation. The primary focus is to ensure high standards of safety and efficiency in maintenance operations to meet operational targets.
The Team Lead will be responsible for:
- Ensuring safety protocols are followed;
- Leading daily pre-job meetings and monthly safety sessions;
- Effectively utilizing SAP Maintenance Process from work identification to completion;
- Developing long-term maintenance plans;
- Communicating maintenance variances to impact the mine plan;
- Managing and approving work instructions and parts list updates;
- Maintaining open dialogue with all mine site departments;
- Monitoring equipment condition and performance reports;
- Determining criticality of failures and initiating necessary actions;
This role requires strong leadership skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and experience with reliability-based maintenance.
Requirements and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a mining or industrial environment;
- Journeyperson certificate in a relevant field;
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent;
- Knowledge of Reliability-Based Maintenance;
- Results-oriented individual with effective communication skills;
- Working knowledge of SAP and basic computer literacy;
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, plus benefits, including extended health, dental, and vision care, an Employee Family Assistance Program (EFAP), employer-matched pension, paid vacation, and personal days.
