Restaurant Manager with Operations Expertise

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Yellowknife Restaurant Limited Partnership location.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, estimating ingredient and supply requirements, hiring food service staff, and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervision and Training: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Operations Management: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements, manage inventory levels, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Staff Management: Hire, train, and develop food service staff, including cooks, servers, and kitchen helpers.
- Customer Service: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, address customer complaints or concerns, and provide excellent oral communication skills.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain accuracy in fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with food service management software and technology.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health care plan, dental plan, disability benefits, life insurance, and vision care benefits.
