Job Summary

Yellowknife Restaurant Limited Partnership is seeking a Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our food service establishment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Staff

Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including cooks, servers, and kitchen helpers.

Train Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

Estimate Ingredients and Supplies

Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation to ensure efficient use of resources.

Prepare Budget and Reports

Prepare budget and cost estimates, as well as maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Address Customer Complaints

Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Requirements
  • Education

No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment is required.

Work Setting

The work setting for this position is a fast-paced food service establishment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
