Job Title: Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Yellowknife Restaurant Limited Partnership.

Job Summary:

The Restaurant Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently. This includes managing staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and implementing operational procedures to drive sales and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise a team of 16-20 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase revenue.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff to ensure they are meeting expectations.
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations to maintain a safe and responsible environment for customers and staff.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that products are rotated regularly.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Leading/instructing individuals to achieve business objectives and improve performance.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Provide customer service, ensuring that all customers receive a high-quality experience.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure that the restaurant is running efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Smart Serve certification.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
  • Point of sale system experience.
  • Spreadsheet skills.
  • Bondable.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
