About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Insulation Installation Specialist to join our team at GNI Management Group Inc. As an Insulation Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing insulation materials in various settings, including construction, maintenance, and repair projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select the appropriate type of insulation required for each project
  • Measure and cut insulating materials to the required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools
  • Apply and secure insulation using various methods, including spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping, and other application and installation techniques
  • Fabricate and apply removable insulation pads and covers
  • Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment
  • Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials
  • Brush waterproofing cement or other material over insulating materials
  • Familiarize yourself with local building codes and regulations
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in insulation installation or a related field
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Ability to work in a noisy, odorous, and dusty environment
  • Ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials
  • Manual dexterity and ability to use hand and power tools
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
