Job Summary

GNI Management Group Inc is seeking a skilled Insulation Installation Specialist to join our team. As an Insulation Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our buildings are properly insulated to meet energy efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Insulation Installation: Select and apply the appropriate insulation materials to meet the specific needs of each project.
  • Measurement and Cutting: Measure and cut insulating materials using hand and power tools to ensure accurate and efficient installation.
  • Obstacle Navigation: Fit insulation around obstacles to ensure a seamless installation.
  • Material Application: Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials to meet building codes and regulations.
  • Specialized Tasks: Spray and blow insulation, and fabricate and apply removable insulation pads and covers.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Graduation Certificate
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in insulation installation or a related field
  • Work Environment: Noisy, odorous, dusty, and outdoors
  • Work Setting: Construction, maintenance, repair, commercial, installation, and residential
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, long periods of standing, bending, crouching, kneeling, and manual dexterity
  • Security and Safety: Criminal Record Check
  • Transportation/Travel: Valid Driver's Licence
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 35-40 per week
