Trail Appliances is seeking a skilled Facilities Specialist to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our physical infrastructure. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in overseeing various aspects of facility management, from routine maintenance to emergency response.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and execute preventive maintenance programs for all facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Liaise with external vendors, contractors, and service providers for facility-related projects, repairs, and maintenance contracts.
- Support the development and maintenance of emergency response plans for various scenarios, such as fire, natural disasters, or security breaches.
- Assist in developing and managing the facilities budget, including forecasting expenses, tracking expenditures, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Implement initiatives to promote energy efficiency, waste reduction, and sustainable practices within the facility.
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in facilities management or related roles, with a strong understanding of building systems and maintenance best practices.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and regulatory agencies.
