Trail Appliances is seeking a skilled Facilities Specialist to oversee the maintenance and operation of our physical infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of building systems and maintenance best practices, as well as excellent project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and execute preventive maintenance programs for all facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Liaise with external vendors, contractors, and service providers for facility-related projects, repairs, and maintenance contracts.
Support the development and maintenance of emergency response plans for various scenarios, such as fire, natural disasters, or security breaches.
Assist in developing and managing the facilities budget, including forecasting expenses, tracking expenditures, and identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or safety standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience in facilities management or related roles, with a strong understanding of building systems and maintenance best practices.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
