Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Hotel Operations Supervisor to join our team at Super 8 By Wyndham Clifton Hill. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and leading a team of staff to achieve our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the work of hotel staff, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance teams.
    • Provide guidance, training, and support to staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Guest Services
    • Ensure that all guests receive a high level of service and that their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
    • Address guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the hotel, including ensuring that all facilities and equipment are in good working order.
    • Manage the hotel's inventory, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that they are adequate and well-maintained.
    • Prepare and manage the hotel's budget, ensuring that expenses are controlled and that revenue targets are met.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with staff, guests, and other departments to ensure that information is shared and that tasks are completed efficiently.
    • Work collaboratively with other departments, including sales, marketing, and human resources, to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory or management role in the hospitality industry
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions
