Senior Culinary Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Culinary Director to lead our kitchen team at Perla Oyster Bar. This is a permanent position offering 40 hours of work per week, with the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a senior culinary role and will be responsible for planning and directing food preparation and cooking activities across multiple restaurants. They will also be expected to plan menus that meet quality standards, consult with clients on weddings and banquets, and recruit and hire staff.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about food and has excellent leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and be fluent in English.
About the Role:
- Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets
- Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities across multiple restaurants
- Plan menus that meet quality standards
- Recruit and hire staff
- Supervise activities of sous-chefs, specialist chefs, chefs, and cooks
