About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled People Practices Manager to join our team at Electronic Arts. This is a key role that will play a critical part in driving business growth and success through the development and implementation of strategic people practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transactional Process Management: Manage and coordinate transactional processes required for the delivery of core programs and inputting data into people management platforms.
  • Cultural Stewardship: Work with managers, employees, and cross-functional teams to develop overall capability to foster a healthy, cohesive, collaborative, fun, and fair workplace.
  • Coaching and Development: Partner with managers to provide candid, unbiased coaching and counsel to enhance manager effectiveness and improve individual and team capabilities to meet business needs.
  • Talent Readiness: Deliver global talent programs, including talent strategy, talent planning, performance management, in partnership with respective cross-functional partners, HR business partners, and local leaders to grow key talent.
  • Insights and Analytics: Leverage HR technology, business intelligence, and local market information to provide data-driven insights that enable sound business outcomes. Educate management on workforce analysis, headcount planning, and related HR metrics to assess and influence and drive decisions.
  • Business Acumen: Understand client and market business models/cycles, priorities, and cultural nuances as an input into operational execution; understand both the business internally and also the external landscape.
  • Change Management: Partner with site leadership and global cross-functional partners to assess change readiness for people initiatives, provide localization input, and collaborate to arrive at solutions that increase adoption.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or equivalent degree in a relevant field combined with seven years of progressive experience as an HR business partner/generalist.
  • Experience working with managers as an advisor regarding team performance management, prior employee relations experience, and the ability to quickly integrate into a complex business.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using data and data-driven insights to support the business.
  • Demonstrated local knowledge of HR requirements, HR best practices, HR administration, employment laws, and employment customs and the ability to translate that knowledge into scalable solutions.
  • Change management skills.
  • Prior experience working within creative environments and supporting creative teams.
