Job Title: Chief Administrative Officer

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Administrative Officer to join our team at the Government of Canada - Western. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for allocating resources, establishing departments, and coordinating work across regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  • Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments.
  • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
  • Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions.
  • Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions.

Work Environment:

This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines. You will be working with a large workload and must be a team player with excellent flexibility.
