About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Public Relations and Communications to join our dynamic team at Four Seasons Hotel Toronto. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive public relations and communications strategy that showcases our brand's unique story and values.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a year-round integrated public relations and communications plan that aligns with our brand's objectives and messaging.
- Manage media relations, including pitching stories, securing coverage, and maintaining relationships with key media contacts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns, including social media, digital marketing, and events.
- Lead the creation of engaging content, including press releases, media kits, and social media posts.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage, providing insights and recommendations for future communications efforts.
- Represent Four Seasons Hotel Toronto at industry events and conferences, building relationships with key stakeholders and thought leaders.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations, communications, or a related field, preferably in the hospitality or luxury industry.
- Proven track record of success in developing and executing public relations and communications strategies that drive results.
- Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Knowledge of social media platforms, including content creation and engagement strategies.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines.
