About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Public Relations and Communications to join our dynamic team at Four Seasons Hotel Toronto. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive public relations and communications strategy that showcases our brand's unique story and values.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a year-round integrated public relations and communications plan that aligns with our brand's objectives and messaging.
- Manage media relations, including pitching stories, securing coverage, and maintaining relationships with key media contacts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns, events, and activations that drive brand awareness and engagement.
- Lead the creation of compelling content, including press releases, social media posts, and other communications materials that showcase our brand's story and values.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of our public relations and communications efforts.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure our communications strategy remains innovative and effective.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in public relations, communications, or a related field, preferably in the hospitality or luxury industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful public relations and communications campaigns.
- Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills, with a strong sense of quality and creativity.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong media relations skills, with experience pitching stories and securing coverage in top-tier media outlets.
