Maintenance Mechanic – Facility Services

Permanent Full Time

Mackenzie Health is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team as we prepare to open our state-of-the-art Mackenzie Vaughan Hospital and continue to operate Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance tasks within the building and grounds with minimal supervision.
  • Compile material lists to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals.

Requirements

  • High School Education or equivalent required.
  • Familiarity with plumbing, blueprints, and general maintenance practices.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Five years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Building Environmental Systems designation or other mechanical licenses from a recognized institution.
