We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Webber. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep of our roadways and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on roadways, including snow removal, pothole repair, and sign maintenance.
- Operate a variety of equipment, including tractors, graders, and mowers, to maintain and repair roadways and infrastructure.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and adapting to changing conditions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in construction, road maintenance, or a related field.
- Valid Ontario Class G driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Successful completion of training in traffic control methods, first aid, and job-related aspects of Occupational Health.
Work Environment
The successful candidate will work in a dynamic outdoor environment, exposed to various weather conditions and physical demands. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment is essential.
