We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at DaSilva and Associates Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant equipment and machinery.
Key Responsibilities- Coach and instruct apprentices in maintenance procedures
- Repair or replace defective machinery parts to minimize downtime
- Perform routine maintenance work on machinery to prevent breakdowns
- Program programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to optimize equipment performance
- Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification
- 5 years or more of experience in maintenance and repair
- Strong knowledge of conveyor systems, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex maintenance issues
