Job Title: User Support Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented User Support Technician to join our team at Schindler Consulting.

Job Summary:

The User Support Technician will provide technical assistance and support to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, software, and network connectivity. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and possess a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and software applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to user inquiries and provide technical support via phone, email, or in-person
  • Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions
  • Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties
  • Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts
  • Participate in the redesign of applications and other software
  • Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties
  • Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software
  • Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and software applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Time management and organizational skills
Work Environment:

The User Support Technician will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on providing excellent customer service.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours:

The User Support Technician will work 30 hours per week.
