About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Optometrist to join our team as an Optometry Director / Store Partner. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the practice forward, improving patient outcomes, and building a strong clinical team.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £80,000-£120,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you will also receive a 50% shareholding in the business, plus 25% Audiology shares. You will have the opportunity to build a secure investment for your future and enjoy flexibility in your work-life balance.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement clinical strategies to improve patient outcomes
  • Build and lead a strong clinical team, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Contribute to the development of the store's clinical services, including MECKS, Post cat, and OHT monitor clinics
  • Work closely with the store management team to achieve business goals and objectives

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified and GOC registered Optometrist with excellent clinical skills and a passion for leadership. You should be able to demonstrate a commitment to exceptional patient care and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.

Location

The store is located in the beautiful Cornish town of Bodmin, which offers a great work-life balance and access to stunning natural scenery. The town has good transport links, including regular buses and a train station, making it easy to get around.
