Job Title: Health Services Management Officer

As a key member of the Canadian Armed Forces, the Health Services Management Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to military personnel. This position requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to apply the principles and practices of healthcare administration in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage healthcare teams in operational units, static facilities, and regional or national headquarters
  • Coordinate schedules, resources, and training to ensure safe and efficient healthcare services
  • Develop and implement healthcare policies and procedures to meet the needs of Canadian Armed Forces members
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide quality care and support to military personnel
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure effective healthcare delivery
Work Environment:

Health Services Management Officers work in a variety of settings, including operational units, static facilities, and regional or national headquarters. They may be deployed on international or domestic operations and are expected to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Requirements:
  • University degree in a relevant field (e.g. healthcare administration, business, public health)
  • Basic training and military officer qualification training
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to apply the principles and practices of healthcare administration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
