Industrial Development Career Opportunity

Astria Properties seeks a highly skilled Senior Industrial Development Director to lead the development of large-scale industrial projects. This role will require expertise in construction management, project scheduling, and budgeting.

This is a challenging position that demands strong organizational skills, technical knowledge, and excellent communication abilities. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, evaluating new acquisition opportunities, and managing due diligence processes. They should also be proficient in applying for permits, managing consultants, and reviewing plans and specifications.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, managing consultant contracts, and administering preconstruction costs. You will also facilitate drawing reviews, value engineering exercises, and prepare regular project updates and reporting.

We estimate the annual salary for this position to be around $120,000 - $150,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Astria Properties offers a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement planning, and paid time off.

Key responsibilities include:

• Evaluating new acquisition opportunities and managing due diligence processes
• Managing the preconstruction process, including applying for permits and managing consultants
• Reviewing plans, specifications, and reports
• Developing and maintaining project schedules
• Managing consultant contracts and preconstruction costs
• Facilitating drawing reviews and value engineering exercises
• Preparing regular project updates and reporting
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients, investors, brokers, consultants, municipalities, and government agencies
