Job Overview: A restaurant manager position at ONTARIO INC. is available for a skilled and experienced leader who can oversee daily restaurant operations, supervise staff, manage inventory, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and Train Staff: Supervise and train staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Determine Services and Operational Procedures: Determine services and operational procedures to ensure a smooth-running restaurant.
  • Financial Management: Balance cash and complete financial reports to ensure accurate accounting.
  • Cost and Inventory Management: Cost products and services, and organize and maintain inventory to minimize waste and ensure availability.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Negotiations: Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and services.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
  • Events and Operations: Manage events, plan and evaluate daily operations, and supervise 5-10 people to maintain a smooth-running restaurant.
  • Technical Skills: Use MS Office, MS Excel, and MS Outlook to manage daily tasks and operations.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Develop accurate, client-focused, and efficient interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with staff and customers.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and physically demanding tasks to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
