About the Job

In this critical position, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the consistent implementation of our Model Risk Governance framework across all models at Societe Generale in the Americas. Your expertise will be instrumental in managing, maintaining, and overseeing the AMER Model Inventory, working closely with model owners, users, and developers. You will also be responsible for performing quality controls on independent reviews performed by Validation teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the enhancement of our AMER model risk appetite and management framework definition.
  • Engage model owners/users/developers for the collation and ongoing maintenance of the SG AMER Model Inventory, and participate actively in the annual certification campaign.
  • Implement model risk governance processes including model risk assessment and reporting to relevant governance forums.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Minimum three years of experience in Model Risk Management related areas.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of Model Risk regulatory requirements (SR11-07) and industry standard practice.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive:
