Job Title: Registered Nurse - ICU

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at Fort St. John Hospital and Health Centre.

About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and manage patients with complex medical conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives
  • One year of recent experience in intensive care
  • Current certifications in Therapy and Blood Glucose Monitor and Ventilator
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
