Job Summary

Northern Health Authority is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional health services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with patients and families
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences

Requirements

• Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant
• One year of recent experience in intensive care
• In-house Coronary Care Course Certificate or equivalent
• Current certifications in Therapy and Blood Glucose Monitor and Ventilator
