Job Title: Speech Therapist

VHA Home HealthCare is a leading provider of home care services in Ontario, with a team of over 3,000 professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality care to those who need it most. Our Speech Therapist role plays a crucial part in our mission to provide client-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose clients with communication disorders through standardized and non-standardized tests.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on case history, assessment results, and current professional practices.
  • Counsel and educate clients, caregivers, and family members on communication deficits and self-management strategies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to discuss clinically significant information and assist in client discharge planning.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of client care in accordance with existing standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Membership in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario.
  • Minimum of two years clinical experience and knowledge of community care requirements.
