Key Responsibilities- Develop clear, engaging, and compelling learning solutions that meet business objectives.
- Apply design expertise to create learning solutions that achieve visible and measurable improvements to individual and group performance.
- Work on a variety of projects, initiatives, and platforms to support the execution of business strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to assigned business groups, influencing and negotiating to achieve business objectives.
- Assist in the development of strategic plans, identifying emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making.
- Support the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues, ensuring alignment between stakeholders.
- Monitor and track performance, addressing any issues and developing effective project plans to facilitate the building of learning programs and curriculum.
- Develop and manage business/group programs, reviewing their effectiveness and recommending enhancements.
- Provide advice and guidance to assigned business groups on design challenges, assessing performance gaps, and recommending solutions.
- Design and develop solutions that help advance human performance and drive business impact, with a customer focus mindset.
- Conduct design analysis, scopes project objectives, and analyzes target audience expectations.
- Define learning objectives, describes tasks and activities, estimates resource requirements, and creates detailed design structure.
- Write, storyboard, and edit learning and performance support interventions, ensuring they are instructionally sound and developed on time, within scope and budget.
- Maintain an external network to understand the competitive landscape and keep abreast of industry developments and new technology solutions and trends.
- Break down strategic problems, analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
- Participate in the management of vendor relationships and network with industry contacts to gather and identify competitive insights and best practices.
- Build effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders and participate or act as a lead on multiple internal projects varying in size and complexity.
- Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of accessibility principles/practices and the implications for design and development.
- Knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional methodologies, technology-enabled design, and learning methods.
- Experience in the design and development of training for multiple delivery methods.
- Strong knowledge of web development processes and familiarity with authoring tools.
- Design thinking.
- Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.
