Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Canada Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to our users, resolving issues with computer systems, and implementing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to user inquiries and resolve technical issues
  • Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions
  • Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties
  • Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts
  • Participate in the redesign of applications and other software
  • Supervise other technical support workers in this group
  • Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties
  • Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations
  • Provide customer service

Requirements:

  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 5 years or more
  • or equivalent experience

Computer and Technology Knowledge:

  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
  • JavaOS
  • Security software
  • Project management software
  • Website creation and management software
  • Web service design
  • Database software
  • Software development
  • C++
  • Oracle
