Job Title: Construction Equipment Mechanic Helper

Melrose Paving Co is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Construction Equipment Mechanic Helper to join our team. As a key member of our paving crew, you will assist in the maintenance and repair of our heavy equipment, ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment, including cleaning and lubricating machines
  • Help tradespersons and other workers with tasks and projects as directed
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public
  • Participate in routine maintenance and repair of equipment
  • Assist in the cleaning of machines and work areas
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, and a team player attitude
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with attention to detail
