About the Role:

Melrose Paving Co is seeking a skilled Construction Equipment Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will provide critical support to our heavy equipment operators and mechanics, ensuring the smooth execution of our paving projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist heavy equipment operators with daily tasks and activities
  • Provide support to small engine and equipment mechanics with routine maintenance and repair
  • Help maintain a safe and organized work environment

Requirements:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
