About the Role

Nedco is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Manager to lead our Etobicoke location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and ensuring excellent customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Recommend Sales Strategies: Collaborate with the District Manager to create and implement sales strategies, including sales volume and profit forecasts.
  • Maintain and Develop Sales and Profit Objectives: Work with assigned key accounts to maintain and develop sales and profit objectives.
  • Ensure Customer Service Standards: Maintain accurate customer service measurement criteria and take appropriate action to ensure compliance with customer service standards.
  • Work Schedule Management: Prepare or ensure the preparation of work schedules to ensure adequate workflow for all areas, including counter sales and inside sales functions.
  • Personnel Management: Hire personnel in the Branch in accordance with Company standards and procedures.
  • Positive Work Climate: Promote and maintain a positive work climate within the Branch.
  • Company Policies and Procedures: Ensure proper implementation and application of company policies and procedures, including inventory control, delivery, billing, and collection, and security.
  • Inventory Management: Keep track of products to determine causes for discrepancies between inventory counts and stock control records, and recommend remedial action to resolve discrepancies.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A college education plus 3-5 years of related experience within the electrical distribution industry or a combination of education and experience.
  • Management Experience: At least 2-3 years of management or supervisory experience.
  • Business Acumen: Sound business acumen to analyze financial reports and develop implementation strategies to meet/exceed fiscal plans and targets.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • AS400 Experience: AS400 experience would be an asset.
  • Electrical Industry Experience: Minimum 3 years in the electrical industry.
