About the Role

Nedco is seeking an experienced and results-driven Branch Manager to lead our Etobicoke location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Collaborate with the District Manager to develop and recommend sales strategies, marketing objectives, and sales volume and profit forecasts.
  • Manage Key Accounts: Maintain and develop sales and profit objectives with assigned key accounts, ensuring strong relationships and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure Customer Service Excellence: Maintain accurate customer service measurement criteria and take appropriate action to ensure compliance with customer service standards.
  • Lead Branch Operations: Prepare or ensure the preparation of work schedules to ensure adequate workflow for all areas, including counter sales and inside sales functions.
  • Recruit and Develop Talent: Hire personnel in the Branch in accordance with Company standards and procedures, promoting a positive work climate and ensuring the development of a high-performing team.
  • Implement Company Policies: Ensure proper implementation and application of company policies and procedures, including inventory control, delivery, billing, and collection, and security.
  • Drive Business Growth: Analyze financial reports and develop implementation strategies to meet or exceed fiscal plans and targets.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A college education plus 3-5 years of related experience within the electrical distribution industry or a combination of education and experience.
  • Management Experience: At least 2-3 years of management or supervisory experience.
  • Business Acumen: Sound business acumen to analyze financial reports and develop implementation strategies to meet or exceed fiscal plans and targets.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office applications and experience with AS400 would be an asset.
  • Industry Knowledge: Minimum 3 years of experience in the electrical industry, with a strong understanding of the sale of electrical products.
