Job Title: Stockroom Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stockroom Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire Squamish. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the stockroom operations, ensuring accurate inventory levels, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their job duties
  • Authorize the return of merchandise and resolve any issues that may arise, including customer requests and supply shortages
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that tasks are completed in a timely manner
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or stockroom environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
