Stockroom Supervisor

Canadian Tire Squamish is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stockroom Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail store operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the stockroom and ensuring that our merchandise is accurately received, stored, and distributed to the sales floor.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
- Authorize return of merchandise and resolve customer complaints
- Establish work schedules and prepare reports on sales volumes and personnel matters
- Organize and maintain inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers, ensuring a fast-paced and efficient work environment
- 1-2 years of experience in a retail or stockroom environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods
