Stockroom Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stockroom Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire Squamish. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the stockroom operations, ensuring accurate inventory levels, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff, ensuring they meet our high standards
- Authorize return of merchandise and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner
- Establish work schedules and ensure seamless day-to-day operations
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers, promoting a positive and productive work environment
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or stockroom environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy
